An encounter with Nature

Between land and sea, a kitchen garden and comfortable rooms await you for moments of tranquility and sharing.

An authentic experience

At the Jardins de la Matz, we take care of our crops as well as our guests, we cultivate the art of living as we cultivate our gardens: respecting nature, drawing inspiration from our rich and varied environment and taking the time to do things right. We are committed to helping people discover the riches of our territory and to protect our land with conviction.

Located in the middle of our vegetable garden, the house and the table are integrated into a global project where synergies are encouraged, to promote sharing and conviviality. You will find this concern for protecting biodiversity everywhere, natural balances and everyone's rhythm: an neat authenticity in harmony with nature, a Brittany between tradition and modernity, an encounter with nature.

The origin of the project

Hélène et Jérôme, fondateurs des jardins de la matz

Having fallen in love with Plouër-sur-Rance, its culture and its landscapes, Hélène and Jérôme decided to install themselves there to offer a unique place, in their image: the Jardins de la Matz.

Located in the heart of a protected natural site, in a hamlet overlooking the Rance, they have put their hearts into renovating this farmhouse, while preserving its charm and authenticity.

By also developing a market gardening activity labeled ORGANIC according to the principles of permaculture, they participate on their scale in environmental and climatic issues, with an annual production of 10 tons of healthy and organic vegetables: Sharing and allowing, such is their wish for this place. .

Finally, from the summer of 2022, the creation of the table d' hôtes makes it possible to offer garden cuisine that is constantly renewed according to the seasons.

Sharing, conviviality and discovery, it is the taste for nature and respect for others that they cultivate on these lands.
